Photography - Digital and Film
Today's professional digital cameras rival the output of film and actually surpass it in most situations We shoot weddings using 6, 10 and 14.6
mega pixels depending on the effect
and lighting. Your choice digital or film.
Prints
Digital prints have an archival life span rated to 100 + years depending on the manufacturer. However they are subject to fading due to sunlight and chemical changes. We recommend printing Digital Images onto color photographic paper. For all larger wall size prints we recommend printing Digital Images onto color photographic paper.
Albums
We carry an exclusive line of elegant but affordable
wedding albums. However as more and more
couples are choosing to go with a virtual wedding album on DVD
or CD Rom as a starting point we can point you to suppliers
that sell direct to public We can quote a
package price and then you can order only when you are
ready.
Virtual Wedding Album
All of our weddings include a FREE web page and album
on our server. Its a great way to share your photos with
distant family and friends. Just one link to send in
emails.
Archiving Digital Media
Storage of digital negatives and finished files is an issue as some types of digital media have a relatively short shelf life.
CD ROMs for example can deteriorate after only three years.
For that reason we provide multiple copies of all images and strongly recommend a "hard copy" media solution either
USB flash media or an external hard drive to compliment the CD
Rom or DVD.
